RELEVENT EXPERIENCE:

WILLIAM CALVERT: INTERNSHIP: Worked in couture, ready to wear and sportswear lines. Gained knowledge in handling production sales across the U.S. and in Dubois. Participated daily in draping, pattern making, quick sketching, formulating color/fabric ideas and working with clients to maintain a happy and returning customer.

FASHION WEEK: B. MICHAEL: Worked as Kelsey Zumba’s personal assistant. Seated VIPs, prepared gift bags, dressed 3 Models for 18 looks, filled in empty seats.

FASHION WEEK: LEANNE MARSHALL: Coordinated models and specific looks in proper order, greeted attendees of the show, helped take down show.

RUNWAY 2.0: Show in Buffalo, NY exhibiting Buffalo State University’s senior students and a second show with local and outside designers (Adam Lippes and Mara Hoffman). Assisted in repair of garments, backstage help of numerous different tasks, and modeled a look for Kate Palame.

THE FUTURE OF FASHION: FIT’s senior fashion show exhibiting a select few of the Sportswear majors. Escort, meet and greet, assist VIP’s to pre/post party events, clean up following the show.

WORK EXPERIENCE:

FREE PEOPLE: Sales: Persistent customer service, fitting rooms-style outfits, add on clothing, always Suggest something, add customers to favorite client list and maintain responsibilities thereafter (Send thank you cards, call when customers favorite styles come in), must know LY, shrink goals, set personal goals, know the goal of the store, cash register, visual team.

POLO RALPH LAUREN: Sales: Attentive customer service, cash register, stockroom, fitting room, window displays and mannequin outfit changes weekly throughout the store.

ENTREPRENEURSHIPS:

FREE LANCE SILKSCREENING: Custom made screen prints into patches, shirts, hoodies. Made own stencils and screens. Provided customer with many color choices and design styles. Handled the billing and collecting of customers.

FREE LANCE CUSTOM CLOTHING: Designed, created, and sold clothing. Printed fabrics, created patterns to fit the individual customer, met regularly to ensure customer was satisfied, set rates and billed each customer fairly and accordingly based on time, fabric, and difficulty.

BLOOMERS: Cotton Candy Stand: Operated and managed cotton candy stand, scheduled same hours each week to create regular customers, bought own equipment, maintained equipment, created own uniform, catered to private events (birthday parties, graduation parties, summer camps)

LAWN MOWING: Summer of 2006-Present: Operated and managed own lawn mowing business, weed wack, spring clean-ups, handled the billing and collecting of my 12 customers.
